Ultimately DC Comics is a business, as are the retailers who will be helped by this kind of high profile project. as it will bring people into stores.

Ultimately, I think the industry needs something like this. Look at the media attention this garnered for the press release – The Hollywood Reporter, Wired, Entertainment Weekly, the L.A. Times and every comics website on the planet will be talking about this today.
