The Joe Shuster Awards has a virtual art gallery over at Comic Art Fans (CAF)

Over the years we have had new artwork produced for the awards by creators like Darwyn Cooke, Tom Grummett, Dave Sim, Dale Keown, Paul Rivoche, Francis Manapul, Dave Ross, Ty Templeton, and others for our poster art, prints and other advertising materials. In 2008 & 2009 we had the the Visions of an Icon art exhibits & sales with the subject matter of Superman and Wolverine respectively. Some pieces are still available for purchase – $ from the sale of these pieces goes towards our operating budget. The brainchild of a former executive director, we discontinued the Visions project in early 2010 for a variety of reasons, primarily feedback.

The CAF site is the brainchild of collector and developer Bill Cox, and the site allows art collectors and artists to display original art pieces and related items. In fact, you’ll find that many members of the CCBCAA are also original art collectors and have galleries of their own.
