According to the article, the Fort Frances Museum (in Fort Frances, Ontario) has decided to spotlight local artist Kari-Ann Anderson in combination with a previous exhibit: Comic Books: A History.
“Comics & Fantasy: Featuring the Art of Kari-Ann Anderson” is the new exhibit on the main floor of the Fort Frances Museum, which also will tie into March Break activities planned there for next week.
Local artist Kari-Ann Anderson has gained recognition for the beauty and magnitude of her art. Now you can have the opportunity to enjoy her work for yourself.Anderson’s fantasy-themed art has been paired with a re-design of the museum’s extremely popular “Comic Books: A History” exhibit from last fall.
Anderson’s work is complemented perfectly by the comic book art, and illustrates a more formal fine arts side to the comics and fantasy theme.
A gallery of Anderson’s fantasy and wildlife artwork can be found here.
