Reports are all over the interweb that Vancouver actor Ryan Reynolds (currently starring in the Proposal with Sandra Bullock) has been cast as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern in the 2010 Warner Bros./DC Comics film. This will be Reynolds’ 3rd comic book film – having starred in Blade III and X-Men Origins: Wolverine as Deadpool. Reynolds’ wife – Scarlet Johansson, is also no stranger to comic book movies, having starred in Ghost World, The Spirit and is slated to appear as the Black Widow in 2010’s Iron Man 2.
