JACK TREMBLAY, Hall of Fame inductee in 2017 for his role in the creation of comics during Canada’s Golden Age, passed away on November 11, 2018 in Montreal. The CCBCAA would like to express our deepest condolences to his family and friends. Tremblay, born in 1926, was 92.
STAN “the Man” LEE, the Maestro of Marvel Comics, passed away on November 12, 2018. Born, in 1922, he was 95 years old. Comics’ greatest ambassador, Stan Lee’s legacy is immense and he is probably the most well known comic book creator. While he was not Canadian, he definitely had impact on any Canadian with a love for anything related to Marvel Comics.
