Signing from 11am to 1pm on Saturday at the Joe Shuster Awards booth at the Toronto Comic Arts Festival is artist AGNES GARBOWSKA.

Agnes Garbowska began her career as an illustrator mainly working on pin-ups and graphic design. Some of her early work appeared as posters for the comic StormBringers by Korby Marks and other small press projects. After working as an independent illustrator, Agnes soon moved into sequential artwork in assorted small press anthologies.

Agnes is currently working on an all ages graphic novel project entitled: You, Me and Zombie (previewed below).

This year Agnes is teaming up with Francis Manapul (Superman/Batman, Adventure Comics) to produce the 2009 Joe Shuster Awards poster and postcard image.
