Programming of interest in the Children’s Reading Tent

12:15 – 1:00 :: Ninja Cowboy Bear Presents the Way of the Ninja

Ninja Cowboy Bear Presents the Way of the Ninja — a high energy story about a daring ninja who learns that the greatest thrills and the best adventures are the ones we share.

Join author David Bruins and illustrator Hilary Leung as they read from both The Legend of Ninja Cowboy Bear and Ninja Cowboy Bear Presents the Way of the Ninja and lead the audience in a variety of interactive games.

3:00 – 3:45 :: Alison Dare, Little Miss Adventures and Alison Dare, The Heart of the Maiden

Alison Dare is not your typical twelve-year-old. She’s the daughter of an archaeologist / adventurer and the masked hero known as the Blue Scarab. She’s also the niece of an international super-spy. It’s no surprise that a craving for danger is in her blood!

Join Jason Bone for a drawing demonstration, and participate in a fun, hands-on Alison Dare cubee craft activity!
