Happenings: Calgary Expo Announces Canadian Creator Guests

The Calgary Expo is proud to have a strong Canadian creator presence at this year’s event! Don’t forget that the Calgary Expo is hosting the Joe Shuster Awards this year for the first time.

Come cheer on your favourite Canadian creators, eh? Ceremony will take place on Saturday, June 18th.

  1. you left off Kate Beaton! She’s in New York now but she’s Cape Breton through and through! Plus her comics are wonderful (harkavagrant.com, Marvel’s Strange Tales, the New Yorker)

  2. Actually, Kate was announced as a guest for the show months ago! Calgary just got around to announcing everyone else.
