People have been trying to put something together in Niagara Falls for a few years now, but it looks as if Niagara Fall’s PULP COMICS has succeeded in organizing an event for this upcoming weekend:

Pulp Comics Presents the Niagara Falls Comic-Con 2011

Where: Dave & Buster’s Clifton Hill, Niagara Falls, Canada
When : Saturday, July 9th
Time: 12pm – 6pm

This is the first-ever Comic Con in Niagara Falls taking place at Dave & Buster’s on Clifton Hill in Niagara Falls, Canada! Dave & Buster’s features Niagara’s ONLY Lazer Tag/Maze arena, and more than 200 of the latest video games covering more than 40,000 square feet on three floors!

Featuring members of the Star Wars Fighting 501st Canadian Garrison, former WWE Superstar “Leaping Lanny” Poffo, Comic Book Artists’ Alley, Comic Book Vendors, the Back to the Future Time Machine Delorean and more being added to the event every week!

Now, this is great for the region, but the details on just who (artists, guests, exhibitors) are going to be there are pretty slim. However the presence of wrestler guest “Leaping Lanny” Poffo, the 501st Legion and the DeLorean from Back to the Future assures us this is event is styled after the “pop culture con” model.
