Over the years we have had new artwork produced for the awards by creators like Darwyn Cooke, Tom Grummett, Dave Sim, Dale Keown, Paul Rivoche, Francis Manapul, Dave Ross, Ty Templeton, and others for our poster art, prints and other advertising materials. In 2008 we held the first ever Visions of an Icon art exhibit with the first subject being Joe Shuster’s famous co-creation Superman. On the CAF site you will find two Visions galleries — one for the artwork that was sold in December 2008 and the remaining pieces we have available for sale (all proceeds go towards the cost of putting on the annual Joe Shuster Awards).

There are also photo galleries from previous Joe Shuster Award presentation ceremonies.

The CAF site is the brainchild of collector and developer Bill Cox, and the site allows art collectors and artists to display original art pieces and related items. In fact, you’ll find that many members of the CCBCAA are also original art collectors and have galleries of their own.
